Product Description Wedge wire screen — also known as Johnson screen, V-wire screen, or slot tube — is manufactured by spirally winding a V-shaped (wedge) profile wire around longitudinal support rods, welding them at every intersection on an automated machine. The V-shape creates self-cleaning slots that widen inward, preventing clogging and enabling easy backwashing.
